Portraiture

I want to try my hand at portraiture again soon.
I was reading my Digital Photo Magazine and there were some tips which I want to try.
I am hoping to achieve the B&W with some shadows kind of portrait.

Anyway I look this picture of a friend i took...time to find friends who like pictures to let me have a crack at it as well as find time to do it.

I think i have less time for my photo projects these days, working is starting so I better start reading my manuals!

I love Black & White

Somehow, I always love effect that Black and White gives.
I still need to learn how to see black and white, and what type of pictures are suitable for B&W, but right now, I just process it as black and white the way I want =)

Anyway just came back from 2 Weddings. Took tons of pictures!

Just just going through some old pictures and decided to do some texturing.
I realize I need more get more textures, either I go around and take textures or download them from deviate art (here)

I do like to take portrait shots. I will see if I can put together a collection when i am free.

However, there is that lag i mentioned when you press the shutter.
