Another Bazooka from Canon

Another big big bazooka from Canon.
This time Canon 1200mm f5.6.

I am just wondering what is the main purpose of this lens.
Planets and Stars photography?

I don't think Paparazzi uses them, I believe it should be freaking heavy!

I wonder if I get it on my Cropped Camera 450D
1.6 x 1200mm is close to 2000mm

I probably can see into all the people's houses within a 5km radius.
